Mario Mills currently attends the Sir William Robertson Academy in Lincolnshire, following his near by neighbour Formula 3 champion and indycar driver Jack Harvey. Not feeling ready for karting at 8 years, Mario waited until he was 9 before taking place in his first race at the P.F. International circuit on 6th March 2011 finishing 13th in the Cadet Formula WTP class for ages 8-12 yrs. He competed in the 2011, 2012 & 2013 Little Green Man Championship, finishing a incredible 10th place in his first ever year. His highest LGM round finish being 5th at Rowrah in August 2011 and went on to finish 4th overall in the 2012 LGM series and became Trent Valley Club champion in only his first year full year. The current P.F. International club circuit lap record is held by Mario, who achieved a 53.36 in July 2011, he briefly held the GP circuit record, which has now been surpass in the WTP class. 2013 & 2014 Mario stepped up to the MSA Formula IAME cadet class, which already attracts massive entries of more than 70 drivers. This year the racing will be much more competitive and with the new IAME engines being very even, it will be very close too!

 

In 2015 Mario took his next big step in moving in to the IAME X30 junior class. His full time mechanic and ex. British Kart Champion Adrian Mills (uncle) looks after the running of Mario’s kart on race and test weekends. Mario enjoys being part of one of the oldest teams in karting JM Racing,

 

The current P.F. International club circuit lap record is held by Mario, who achieved a 53.36 in July 2011, he briefly held the GP circuit record, which has now been surpass in the WTP class. Mario also assists at the Racing for Buttons scheme running at PFI, helping out organiser, Gary Walker & Robert Haynes, run classes for starters into karting.

 

For 2013 Mario has stepped up to the MSA Formula IAME cadet class, which already attracts massive entries of more than 70 drivers. This year the racing will be much more competitive and with the new IAME engines being very even, it will be very close too!
